Mystery and creativity. These are the words for Wednesday's Marc Jacobs NY Fashion Show.
Marc Jacobs Autumn/Winter ready-to-wear collection 2018 was inspired by 1980s, however in a completely different way. He was influenced by later part of the 80s by using puffed sleeves, flowery taffeta detailing, fur and leather materials.
Marc created tense atmosphere by building up blue cloudy scene through which models were reaching from the darkness. Accompanied by violin tones and high notes, it made from Jacobs show high-struck experience.
In his catwalk show, black woollen hats were dominating. Every model was wearing a hat made by Stephen Jones, which gave her a touch of mystery as the shadow was covering eyes on her face. He introduced to the world a new catwalk goal with a model's hair. He cut the hair of a model and created an edgy look, but moreover he also decided to dye the hair so it matched with her clothes.
Roll neck with an enormous flowery scarf was an inseparable part of Jacobs collection. Oversized shapes were created from heavy fabrics, mostly wool or leather, which didn't differ from current trends on market. Materials were shinny, layered, and again very creative. We could see metallic outfits combined with woollen oversized coats.
Winnie Harlow, special model from Canada with a vitiligo disease was also one of the Jacobs models, spotted wearing oversized checked suit with a layered scarf around her neck. Puffed sleeves on the red dress accompanied by a wide black belt, gave model youthful look, however it could be a problem with wearing them, as its shoulders were enormous. Models were covered form head to toe in luxurious fabric.
In a show celebrities like Anna Wintour, Sidney Toledano, Sofia Coppola, Christina Ricci, Debbie Harry, Jasmine Sanders, Olivia Holt, Sofia Carson, Kehlani, Bebe Rexha, Cardi B or Lil' Kim could be seen. All models wore Marc Jacobs beauty concretely Shameless Youthful-Look 24H Foundation SPF 25 .
Marc Jacobs created 54 incredible and original outfits. He showed up as 55th which could lead to his age as he is turning 55 this year.

V stredu sa počas New York Fashion Weeku konala prehliadka od návrhára Marca Jacobsa. Ja som ju pozerala a musela som o nej niečo napísať.
Popísala by som to ako jednu veľkú, extravagantnú, mysterióznu a kreatívnu kolekciu. Nikdy by som nedokázala navrhnúť niečo také a pravdou je, že nie všetky modely boli presne podľa môjho gusta.
Avšak, zopár modelov sa mi fakt páčilo a je to hlavne jeho kreativita, ktorú skutočne oceňujem.
Na prehliadke sa objavilo množstvo známych ľudí, ale najmä Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue od roku 1988. Jednou z modeliek bola Winnie Harlow, ktorá trpí chorobou vitiligo a objavila sa v oversized károvanom kostýme.
Všetky materiály boli veľmi žiarivé, lesklé, vrstvené a metalické.
